The Atom That Cannot Be Split

I don’t know. There’s no real reason to explain myself. It doesnt feel natural or right. I shoot my images and write my songs and they get pushed around like a new kid in school. I’ve been the new kid in school all my life. My parents always moved around till i finally dropped out of school. I always wanted to do things my own way, because i never fit in except with the small tight groups of the very intelligent independent kids in all the different schools i fell into. I wanted to study, but only what i wanted to study, and i wanted to make music, but only what i wanted to make. I wanted to travel, but not with the rest of the group. I wanted so much. I had so much desire, so much hope, so much pain and feelings. I was a bit slow, in many ways.

Don't You Hate Explaining Yourself?

It sucks to have to explain yourself to someone, when they already like you, but they criticize you in spite of liking you. I mean, my work. People fall in love with one image and they criticize the rest, or say “‘i’ve seen you do better”. Obviously this is shallow thinking, assuming an artist can only do one thing in his life, like we are all super heroes with one gift. Well i believe we are all capable of pursuing many paths and having a colorful experience in each.
