dream made me miss someone
i hate when friendships end before they get a chance to grow. i had a dream of someone with whom i parted ways years ago over a misunderstanding. im just not over it apparently. it’s such a waste to live life apart from someone who used to be so wonderful.

so my last shoot was really washed out with just light going everywhere… and i think i know why. im using a big soft box, and shooting up close. its all about fall off, and fading light, and up close you dont see it. but when you back off and shoot a little wider, you get to see the light get darker at the feet.
also there’s the matter of the backdrop. a large light gets rid of a lot...

I'm gonna start filming lighting instructions
People have been asking me for a long time when I’m gonna make a “dvd” about my lighting and all that. Well I don’t think I am really all that special, but once and for all, I need to make a set of video instructions for photography. It could be very entertaining indeed. I could even make a “nude model photography course”

So this is a major update that brings a lot of news together in one definitive event. I’ve just secured an office/studio/warehouse space. Its about 20 by 30, has electric, AC, on site mail, and bathroom.
