don’t get your photographer panties in a tangle, its a Nikon DX1. reason i got it was:

compliments my Nikon F5 film camera

@5.3 Megapixels, its perfect for web, ebooks and some print 
shutter speed goes up to 1/16,000 of a second i’ve read 
sync up to 1/500 instead of 250
full size body - very stable, looks cool, can be used as a weapon

besides all that, im looking forward to being able to shoot more often, and use my good lenses that i use on my film nikon, on this camera. it has very good color handling which is important to me. i can use it somewhat to test exposure and strobes before using the film cameras as well, and for warming up a model before film. 

I hope to get it by tuesday or so. :) i don’t fully know what this is going to do to me and my work. ive shot only film for years now. I know i’ll shoot it similarly as do a film camera, i just wont have to develop the shots at a lab, and/or pay money. *evil evil snicker*
